Tim Pennington

Independent Non-Executive Director

Tim brings more than 30 years of international experience in international telecommunications, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of MTN Group Limited, Africa’s largest mobile network operator, as well as one of its listed subsidiaries.

Tim has previously held a number of senior finance roles in the telecommunications sector such as Chief Financial Officer of Millicom International Cellular S.A. and Cable & Wireless Communications plc, and as Group Finance Director of Cable & Wireless PLC.  Tim also brings significant investment banking experience, having worked in corporate finance and advisory roles at Samuel Montagu & Co. Limited and later as Managing Director at HSBC Investment Bank.

Tim is a member of the Audit Committee and will become Chair of the Audit Committee following the end of the current financial year.
